For the price we paid, Onederz Hostel was definitely worth it. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location near the river was perfect. The staff were friendly and treated us well throughout our stay.
The morning meal could be improved with more options or variety.

Great location, within walking distance of the Riverside area, bars, and night market. Bed, pillow, and blanket were comfortable. the hostel provided lockers with padlocks for added security. the shared washrooms were clean and well-equipped with electrical heaters, soap, shampoo, hairdryers, and even cotton buds. There was a mini shelf beside the bed for convenience. the WiFi at the reception area was strong and stable. the hostel had a common living hall with comfy pillows and a large TV, as well as a rooftop bar with a great view of the city. the price was excellent value for money, especially for a 4-person shared dorm. You could even order delicious food from the hostel.
Some parts of the hostel were undergoing building works, which made it feel slightly separated from the rest of the hostel. we received a discount upon arrival due to this inconvenience.

During our stay at Onederz Hostel, we were impressed with the excellent location right on the riverfront, offering stunning views. The reception staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even arranging a packed breakfast for our early departure. The rooms were clean and comfortable, equipped with amenities like a TV and refrigerator. The hostel also had a pool on the 4th floor with a breathtaking view of the river. The price of the food was reasonable compared to other places in the area. The staff also helped us book trips to popular attractions like the Killing Fields.
Although our private room was clean and had good features, it could have benefitted from basic additions like cupboards for hanging clothes and a tea/coffee-making facility. Additionally, the air conditioning could have been more efficient.

I recently stayed at Onederz Hostel for a few days during my visit to Phnom Penh. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, especially a girl at the reception who spent an hour chatting with me and providing valuable advice. The dorms were clean and comfortable, and I loved the amazing view from the rooftop and the swimming pool on the fourth floor. The location was perfect, right next to the riverside with several tourist attractions within walking distance. It was a great choice for my first stay in Phnom Penh.
Totally recommend this hotel.
